Alec Bruns is a second generation bee keeper living in savannah. Born right in the middle of a busy bee season, his first introduction to the world was to the calm hum of his fathers hives. only days old, Alec was carried out to the hives to "tell the bees" an ancient celtic tradition in which it is thought a great disrespect not to include them in important family news, such as births, marriages, or the passing of elders. Being drawn back to the world of bees once again, Alec produces local unfiltered raw honey, catches swarms and preforms bee removals while happily re homing them in his apiary. Our pollinators need our help more than ever by protecting the natural environment in as many ways as we can. Alec's focus is not only on the beautiful products the bees create, but also the magic and deep sense of wonder they can bring into our lives.
